Music Therapy for Parkinson's Disease

Researchers analyzed 27 articles on the therapeutic effects of music in Parkinson’s disease (PD). Most of the articles demonstrates that music therapy is a beneficial treatment to improve motor, nonmotor symptoms, and quality of life of those with PD. The researchers proposed that music therapy could be used as a supplemental therapeutic tool for conventional treatments.
