Researchers conducted a survey focused on sleep quality in people with cerebellar ataxia. They found that disturbed sleep may affect cognition and emotion and reduce one's quality of life. The results suggest that treating poor sleep quality could improve cognitive and mental health, daytime functioning, and quality of life for people with ataxia.
